My passion lies in blending genres and closely examining how we engage with music and art. My upcoming second album, CONVERGENCE, is a genre-bending album where soul and funk collide in a fusion of powerful vocals, a bold horn section, and a dynamic rhythm section enriched by orchestral strings and brass. Inspired by the innovative sounds of Snarky Puppy, Tank and the Bangas, Laura Mvula, Nu Deco Ensemble, Oli Howe, and Dirty Loops, CONVERGENCE reimagines orchestral arrangements to bridge genres and create something entirely new.

But creating as an independent artist comes with challenges. The arts industry is in a constant state of flux, with limited resources for new, unconventional ideas. Traditional funding often prioritizes the familiar, leaving little room for innovation. That’s why I’ve made it my mission to carve out space for bold, collaborative artistry that fuses genres, creates and cultivates community, and fosters authentic artistic expression free from traditional constraints.
